Arrival in Greenland & RIB boat cruise
Begin your adventure with a commercial or private charter flight from Iceland to Greenland.
You’ll then go on an exhilarating RIB cruise through one of the oldest places on Earth. The cruise takes you across 80 kilometers (km) of blue water and deep into the world’s second-largest fjord system.
Along the way, you’ll scout for humpback whales, which often explore the area. Lean back, relax, and relish the fresh air and beautiful sights that surround you.
Your accommodation is a private luxury camp in the middle of the Greenlandic wilderness. Located on a peaceful shingle beach, and perched on an ancient Inuit hunting ground, this remote retreat lies far from civilization.
The camp consists of 6 heated and fully equipped tipis. You’ll have a full-size bed, arctic-grade linens, a reading chair, and a private bathroom complete with a hot shower, eco-toilet, and locally-made bath products.

Traditional Inuit meal & swim with icebergs
The morning starts with a 15-minute boat ride to the deserted island of Uummannaq. You’ll hike to its peak to enjoy the breathtaking views over the ice fjords, with its jagged peaks and grand icebergs.
Afterwards, you’ll stop at a restored church built in 1733. You’ll rest and be treated to a Greenlandic BBQ. In traditional Inuit culture, they cook with flat rocks over a fire instead of frying pans.
You’ll then experience a vital part of life in Greenland and go deep-sea fishing. The abundant waters outside of Nuuk are so teeming with life that even first-timers have a great chance of catching dinner.
In the evening, you’ll get the rare opportunity to swim with icebergs. You’ll search for the perfect iceberg and then take to the Arctic waters. Swim alongside these frozen giants and walk across the ice, dressed in high-quality survival suits.

You’ll be accompanied by a skilled guide who will ensure your safety from a backup boat and kayak. You’ll be fully kitted out with a life jacket, dry suit and communication gear, leaving you free to soak up Greenland’s awe-inspiring beauty.
Afterwards, you’ll visit the Kapisillit settlement, home to less than 60 people. Small as it is, Kapisillit has a kindergarten, a church, one grocery store, and everything you need to live a peaceful life in nature.
Another highlight of the day is visiting locals for “kaffemik”. For this tradition, locals invite friends to celebrate special occasions with coffee, cake, and local delicacies. You’ll visit a family that’s lived here for many years and will share fascinating tales about daily life on the island.
